Your choices shape your agent. This notice explains what the current Eclipse website receives, what stays on your browser, and how to request help with your information.
1. Scope and current features
This notice covers the Eclipse Agent Studio website, an Eclipse — Powered by Aperion experience. It covers the showroom, account setup, guided Discovery, saved agent profiles, physical-design preferences, and checkout review. It does not describe every future Eclipse app, Agent Key, or Community Compute service. Those services will need notices that match their actual operation before launch.
Discovery includes guided setup and a live Echo conversation panel when enabled. Checkout cannot take payment or place an order. Automatic portrait generation is not yet enabled.
2. Information involved
- Sign-in information: a provider account identifier and email address from ChatGPT or Supabase email/password sign-in, and Google when available. The hosting platform may also supply a display name. We use this information to verify access and associate your saved profile with your account. For email sign-in, the account form sends your email and password directly to Supabase over HTTPS. Eclipse’s profile server does not receive or store your password.
- Your profile: the nickname you give Echo, your agent’s name, working style, appearance direction, stock digital look, agent gender, visual treatment, palette, expression, conversation and initiative preferences, distinctive details, goals, plan, progress, notes, provisional display number, and chosen Key design, finish, accent and inscription. Approved profiles are associated with an account ID, permanent agent ID, revision, and save time.
- Policy acceptance: the version of the Terms you accept, the Privacy notice you acknowledge, and the time of that action.
- Generated portraits, when enabled: your selected digital look and appearance direction are sent to the image provider to create a still image. The resulting image and its generation status are saved with your agent identity. The portrait request does not include your notes, nickname, or goal.
- Live Echo, when enabled: your submitted message and up to six recent conversation turns are sent to OpenAI. If you opt in, the current agent name, goal, working style and visual direction are also sent; saved notes and account details are excluded. Replies stay in the page session, and Eclipse does not save chat content in its database. Request identifiers, account identifiers and UTC dates are stored to enforce daily usage limits. Provider requests use storage disabled, which does not eliminate all provider security or abuse-monitoring retention.
- Technical and support information: hosting and authentication providers may process connection details such as IP address, request time, browser information, and error or security records. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include.
Do not enter passwords, API keys, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information into Discovery. The current site does not provide a private medical, legal, or financial record system.
3. How information is used
Information is used to verify sign-in, save and retrieve your choices, keep one agent identity across the creation steps, prevent conflicting saves, handle support and privacy requests, and protect the service. If you explicitly link Google and ChatGPT sign-ins, they can access the same Eclipse account. Accounts with separate saved agents are not silently combined.
The site does not include advertising pixels or marketing analytics scripts in its application code. Its current application does not sell profile data or share it for targeted advertising. Hosting and sign-in providers operate under their own terms and notices.
4. Service providers and disclosures
The website uses OpenAI’s Sites hosting platform and Cloudflare-backed storage. ChatGPT supplies the platform sign-in identity; Supabase handles email/password authentication and Google authentication when available. When portrait generation is enabled, OpenAI’s image service will process the selected visual direction. Optional browser speech uses your browser or operating system; some voices use online services.
Providers receive the information needed for the functions they perform. Their processing, retention, and service-improvement practices are governed by their applicable contracts, settings, and privacy notices. We do not claim that all third-party processing stays on your Key, stays in one country, or is excluded from every provider’s service-improvement process.
Information may also be disclosed when required by applicable law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to applicable protections. We do not make saved profiles publicly searchable through this site.
5. Browser storage and speech
Sign-in sessions may use cookies and local storage. Optional unfinished Discovery drafts, guided-preview profiles, and saved-profile recovery copies use this browser’s local storage. The opening animation uses session storage to remember that it has been shown. These are functional features, not advertising trackers.
Local copies are not encrypted by this application. Other people using the same browser profile may be able to read them. Turning off draft saving removes an unfinished draft when the browser allows it. Clearing site data removes local copies and may sign you out; it does not delete the server account. Downloaded copies remain on your device until you remove them.
The read-aloud feature is off by default. The current Discovery site does not record your microphone. If you enable read-aloud, your browser or voice service processes the text you ask it to speak.
6. Your choices and requests
You can edit saved profile details, update your plan, remove individual notes, download your profile, sign out, and decide whether to keep an unfinished browser draft. Linking sign-in providers is a separate explicit choice.
For account deletion, access, correction, or other privacy requests, use the Eclipse contact section. Server-account deletion is currently handled through support rather than a self-service button. We may need to verify that the request belongs to you; do not send passwords or secret keys. Rights and response requirements depend on applicable law. Removing a provider account or clearing your browser does not by itself delete Eclipse’s saved account.
7. Retention and security
Saved profiles remain available while the account is maintained. We retain information only for service operation, support, security, or other legitimate obligations, and review deletion requests under applicable law. Provider backups and security records may remain for their separate retention periods. This preview does not promise a fixed deletion deadline or a finalized retention schedule.
Account checks restrict profile and portrait access, and server-generated identity IDs prevent a browser from choosing another account’s owner ID. No system is risk-free. A saved website profile is not an end-to-end encrypted Key vault; the Key’s proposed memory protection is a separate product feature.
8. Children, changes, and contact
This preview is designed for users who can lawfully agree to its Terms and is not directed to children. If you believe a child submitted personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can review it.
We will update this notice when the site’s handling changes and show its current version here. Material changes may require an updated notice or acknowledgement. Privacy questions can be sent through the Eclipse contact section.
